Danelectro Daddy O

Now that we already have the Fab Tone layout published, i felt that we need to have this one too. Slightly simpler circuit with more controls.

  1. Always thought this one was a modded Guv'nor.

    1. That should work fine too. Schematic has it for JRC4558 though:

    2. The Danelectro Daddy-O has been my #1 OD pedal on my pedal board for the last 15 years or more. I really like it. Thanks for posting this!

  3. Hi Mirosol,
Ive finished and verified this one. It has lots of gain and volume, plenty of control with the 3 tone pots and as a whole gives a nice all round choice of sounds. You can keep it real clean and chunky or really dirty and thin or vice versa, great for a pal of mine who is a bit of a tonal obsessive where the guitar is concerned. Great stuff thanks. Jim

  4. Hi, I built this and seem to have no output. My IC voltages are as follows:
    1 - 3.02
    2 - 3.2
    3 - 2.76
    4 - 0
    5 - 2.99
    6 - 3.6
    7 - 6.06
    8 - 6.06

No visible bridges and checked with a magnifying glass. the diodes dont light up at any point either.

    Thanks in advance
