One requested by fx40b and including two layouts, one compact and one for DAM type axial mojo goodness! This isn't yet verified and so if you make it successfully then please let us know.
Here's a collection of vero (stripboard) and tagboard guitar and bass effect layouts that we have put together covering many classic and popular effects in growing numbers. Many of these have been posted on freestompboxes.org, so check that site out for great discussions on building your own effect pedals. Enjoy the builds and please also visit us on Facebook and Twitter
I can verify the axial layout as working. I used AC128's, a great sounding fuzz. Thanks Mark
ReplyDeleteExcellent, thanks for verifying it and letting us know Benno. If you've taken any pics then please send me the links or post them here. I like to keep a collection of pics of builds that people have done with my layouts. Cheers, Mark.

DeleteYou'll see I used 10uf and 4.7uf in parallel in place of the 15uf. Cheers. Will post link later when boxed up if you like.
I'll try.

Nice one, looking good!
DeleteLooks like the only real difference between this and the Vox Tonebender are the trimmer, ceramic caps, and 100nf cap? Was thinking about building the Vox but I like having the trimmer on this one, could I just swap the 100nf for 4.7nf?
ReplyDeleteCan't seem to get the compact layout working. Most likely builder error, though. My soldering is awful. College is messing with my focus on building pedals, and building pedals is messing with my focus college. 'Tis a sad day.
