  1. Hey, I built this and it works great apart from the pot does everything in the last bit - think it should be a linear 50k and I used log...

    Fantastic sounding little boost though! :)

    1. The board has no tracks, it's tagboard so all the connections are made by the components, links and wire to pots.

    1. Your vero layout looks wrong, the bottom left 22k should be 100k and you're missing a cut under 10uf.

  6. I just built it, it's a beast how brutal it is..except I used mosfet 2SK152 instead of J201, it's probably best replacement.. I'm totally shocked, didn't expect that will be this good, thank you

  7. HI there, the image doesn't seem to expand anymore. I can't see the parts list. Yep, I know this is old as the hills, but I'd like to try the circuit.

    1. It never had a parts list. In the old days with the simple circuits I just used to put the pot value on a graphic, and transistor type near the graphic instead of putting it a text list below.
