  2. John,

Should I put a spot weld on these points?

  3. no. it's two links that share the same hole so they get soldered together on the bottom of the board.

    1. I've dropped the note about those on purpose, since these double links (two link ends sharing a single hole) are very common in many of the layouts and it's been pretty much a standard method for over three years. By now, i hope this should be obvious for nearly everyone reading this blog.

    Thanks for your help.

Sorry, I started reading the blog yesterday, just had this question.

    1. Nah. Don't worry about it. It's now been only about a year since we stopped getting frequent question about what the red squares are.

  5. tag it Miro! never build any ibanez till today. i thought why not an unverified one?
sounds really great, really close to the demo.
fired at ones. it has very big volume boost.unity is about 25%....so maybe a 100k log could be better...i don't have any though so i'll stay with the lin!
mid and tone both give a very large range of tones
    anyway!verified and working voltages are...

  6. Replacing the 6k8 at the gyrator with a trimpot would make this pedal much more versatile. 10k trimpot or 1k5 fixed resistor and 5k trimpot wired in series, maybe...

  7. Hi all, First of all, thanks for the layout!

My issue is instead of half voltage, the readings for pin 5,6,7 of IC2 are 0, 9.3,9.3 respectively. I changed IC and the problem persist....

My build kind of work but the B1M Drive pot has little changes in sound, my tone and mid pots seem operating in a opposite direction manner, ie tone pot turning anti clockwise very bright sound and clockwise very dull sound.

Also, there are some discountinued noise when tone mid pots turned pass 60% clockwise direction.

Are these weird issues caused by the wrong voltages in IC 2?

    assistant much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    1. I managed to get the voltages right now, the gain is working, but for some reason, the tune and mid pots are still reversed, ie anti clockwise more effects... and when turned pass 70-80%, the sound is not very solid, a bit loose...the caps are in right directions...

anyway, still a big improvement before fixing the voltages and gain pot...

      please advise.
