Esprit de Fuzz v3
Another good looking Effdub design. One could pretty easily mod this for "smooth" switch (by making the 2n2 cap from input to ground switchable) and giving it a "fuzz" control by replacing 1K resistor from Q3 emitter to ground with 1K pot. Thought i'd draw this to the spec, as some people seem to like one knob fuzzes a lot :)

Should all layouts be verified before publishing? This would mean less layouts but more peace of mind?
Haha! I'll get to it as soon as I can! I'm expecting some 2N2222 but I don't know when so I might just use a 2N3904 instead.
ReplyDeleteVerified! This an unruly beast. Setting up the trimmers is really critical; from horrible gating at one end and howling at the other. In the middle, however, bags and bags of sustain! Nasty, I like it!!
