Here's a collection of vero (stripboard) and tagboard guitar and bass effect layouts that we have put together covering many classic and popular effects in growing numbers. Many of these have been posted on freestompboxes.org, so check that site out for great discussions on building your own effect pedals. Enjoy the builds and please also visit us on Facebook and Twitter
It works fine! It adds nice presence to your tone, the pot is very useable for all his range. It crackles a bit just like the SHO but to my ears this one works better as presence enhancing at lower settings, if you crank it up it's very loud and it goes into distortion well, thank you for the layout.
Ultra noob question here...I built this last night and used the offboard wiring diagram from this site too. Works like a charm when the effect is engaged but when its in bypass mode the signal is muted. What's going wrong here?
If you've wired the switch exactly as per the offboard diagram then there must be either something wrong with the switch. It can't be the input/output wiring/soldering or you'd also have the problem when the effect was turned on so that only leaves the switch.
Thanks for the update!
