    2. I thought this might be a good circuit.. Kendrick doesn't do anything half way - and looking at the design, it was (and is) like all the other Kendrick products. Simple, but still better than anything else :)

  4. Yes, familiar enough. I'll make the stock a bit more gritty by replacing that 1k with a jumper, we'll see how it goes as it needs just a bit more push to make it from good to great pedal and worth to box up :)

  5. 1k resistor paralleled with 5k pot makes for a nice boost level control.
    Goes fairly wild on minimum resistance, so could be in series with 100r resistor or so.

  7. I built 2 of these! First one in front of a booste grande! Man the sustain is amazing! Stand alone unit sounds great but boost this circuit more wow! Great sounding pedal!

  9. Built it. Sounds great. Two questions:
    1) Is the boost switch supposed to provide a clean boost? I just get a boosted fuzz and a non-boosted fuzz when I toggle the switch.
    2) Noisy. Is there anyway to reduce the high freq hiss? Different type of 47nF cap (ceramic, vs mylar vs electrolytic) or different value?
