Here's a collection of vero (stripboard) and tagboard guitar and bass effect layouts that we have put together covering many classic and popular effects in growing numbers. Many of these have been posted on freestompboxes.org, so check that site out for great discussions on building your own effect pedals. Enjoy the builds and please also visit us on Facebook and Twitter
Maybe a stupid question, but isn't there a cut missing below the horizontal 1k resistor above the IC? This way I don't really see the point of it...
ReplyDeleteYes there is a cut missing there and i'll update the layout once i'm back home tonight. Thanks for head up.

I'm sorry to do this on this thread, but I need help with the two grounds on the Plimsoul. Its been a while since anyone has applied there. Its obvious that every lug has a wire coming from the vero, and also, its obvious how to wire the switch. However, I'm confused about having two grounds. Someone please help me in detail.
ReplyDeleteYou can connect the 2 grounds to anywhere there is a ground. Ground is ground there really aren't two different grounds. You could just run the upper left ground wire to the bottom row ground so you will only have one ground coming from the board. Or you could run each them to different 1/4 inch jack grounds. Just make sure you avoid ground loops.
DeleteIt looks like Mark has two grounds like that to help keep the board size down.
Or if I'm wrong on this somebody can correct me.
Exactly right Dave, it was already 21 columns wide so I didn't want to add an additional column for the required link, so just daisy chain your ground wire, or take two wires from the board to a single ground point offboard.
