Here's a collection of vero (stripboard) and tagboard guitar and bass effect layouts that we have put together covering many classic and popular effects in growing numbers. Many of these have been posted on freestompboxes.org, so check that site out for great discussions on building your own effect pedals. Enjoy the builds and please also visit us on Facebook and Twitter
Also this, i made NPN. Used 8n2 for the 2n2s, as i know that 2n2 give out very nasal and piercing fuzz. 8n2 makes it much fatter and more versatile. This and tonebender may be the reason some fuzzes are called "velcro fuzz" :)
I sticked in MP38As with hFEs in the 40-50 region. This circuit is perfect for these.
So. I've built this, Tonebender mk3, Rangemaster with a rotary and DAM RF70 today. All are, in my opinion at least, essential boxes :)
Just tried this one out. Pretty radical! I used 6n8 and hfe 165 & 40. Seems good... https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/631674/GEFuzzrite.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/631674/GEFuzzrite_inards.jpg By the way, just realized that forgot to add 1M2 across the C500K. Oops. What am I missing? Cheers and thanks a lot!
Hey Mark, I traced my original the other night and this layout doesn't seem to be right. Mostly just subs probly due to part availability, but in my original Q2 has an emitter bypass cap.
Also instead of going straight to ground, the 47n on the right goes to ground in series with the emitter bypass cap. Also there is no DC ripple cap but that's for you to decide if you want it or not
Lemme know if you want the specifics. I know this is an old one so maybe nobody cares
I have just built this, but it has an extreme "pop" problem. I have used Skreddy type TB, high led resistor, pulldown resistor but the pop is still there. Any suggests?
This one too! Tag it.

Thanks Mark for the greatest layouts!

BTW.. Now it seems you have less than 30 unverified layouts left :)

Damn. Forgot to mention that i used C500K pot with 1M2 resistor between lugs 1 and 3. That makes it ~353K with taper near enough to rev log.
