Joyo Roll Boost
Nice, small and has room for tweaking - i just love to do these modern, super cheap china circuits.. Layout is according to fsb-trace by CheapPedaCollector - who does amazing job with pedals like this one.
The gain range was not specified with the trace. For the real current gain you'll getting out of this little circuit, i really don't think it's all that important. However, i recall seein a few joyos having the basic BC549C for BJTs.
Either way. You'll be fine with any silion NPN, just note the pinout. +m
Verified. This boost sounds very similar to a standard LPB-2: dirty, and with low headroom. This one would be an OK alternative for single coils, but for humbuckers, an LPB-2 with the gain pot moved up front would be a better choice.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteThe best transistor BC549 is type A, B or C?
Thanks
