Dylan 159's Blendy Buffoon

Next up from Dylan159's Unreleased Circuits is the Blendy Buffoon. We've had a bunch of different blend/mix/loop designs up already, but this idea was still missing. Some may have stumbled upon an issue where you couldn't use a basic blend circuit with the likes of Marshall Bluesbreaker or MXR Dynacomp. That issue is due to those pedals (and loads of others) reversing the phase. Which resulted in minimal signal output as the dry signal is 180 degrees out of phase with the wet signal. Now this one cures this behavior - and you can flip the switch to use this with any pedals in the loop - may it be reversing the phase or not. I believe this may come in handy on various situations, like recording.

  1. The15K next to pin 5 of IC1 should be 51K - Also the board dimension should be 15x14

  2. Looking at the schematic overe here: https://www.freestompboxes.org/download/file.php?id=39167&sid=815d025fa61a997214ecab00fc414820&mode=view This circuit won't ever work. After the transistor input buffer, Vref is imposed on the signal before the cap. This will mess up Vref and kills the signal completely. I tried putting it after the cap but then again, it will get messed up because of how the mixer works. Last but not least, the mixer pot is too small with 10K, in center position it's 5K to ground to either channel, which kills the signals as well. Maybe 100K or 250K will work but since the whole circuit is dodgy to say the least, I'm not even gonna bother. I also wonder if the phase inverting part will work as it is. Too bad cuz I build this on Vero and spend more than an afternoon troubleshooting. Lesson learnt, breadboard unverified circuits first. :)
