  7. Hello!

I want to thank all of this site for there work over the years.
I have made a layout of the Marshall 1959 SLP and also the Dumble, but for some reason, I can't publish them.
I have also mad a lot of other layouts of amps and pedals.

  8. Hi! Can anyone tell me what function the transistor has in this build? Is it just the buffer? In that case it would´nt be a problem to use another than the 2sk117 which is very hard to get.

    1. It is a buffer. You can use other JFets but mind the pinout.

    2. Here's a quote from Bajaman himself about this:

"the input and output buffers are realised by 2SK117 N channel Jfets in this design - I am sure any small signal N channel jfet such as 2SK30, J201 or 2N5457 etc would work for these buffer stages."

J201 and 2n5457 are getting scarce in through-hole, but the 2sk30 is available at Tayda.

    3. Leif where do you live, I can send you a 2SK117 if you like!

  10. Works great I don't know why it isn't marked verified yet, but you definitely can. I used a j201 for the jfet.

  11. Bass needs to be a 50K log. I've built two of these and with lin the sweep happens within the first parts of the rotation.

Circuits sound just that on the design itself. It's prone to poor filtering issues too (ie you use a bad supply), it'll be noisy unless pots are all half rotations. Put a 10R resistor after the 9V if you're uncertain kr get that.

  12. Oh and J201 fine, just watch the pinout (have to swap the source and gate legs around on the jfet itself).
