Wampler Hot Wired v.1

    1. You should try any dual opamp with that same pinout to see what you like.

    2. thanks, so pin 4 on 4580 datasheet is vcc- who is equals to Gnd pin 4 on NE5532 right?

    3. Yes. Look at the 5532 data sheet also. It also says farther down that vcc- is the negative supply. In this case ground. But the can vcc- can be negative in relation to ground also but often not in guitar pedals

    4. Exactly. Most dual opamps can be used with "+9V/ground with reference voltage" or "+9V/-9V with ground as reference".

      Also, should be noted that most dual opamps share the same pinout.

  3. is there a replacement for the 25k rev. pot?
    can I use a 25K lin instead?

    1. Yep. It's just that the taper might feel odd, but using a linear pot will be better than a log pot.
