Here's a collection of vero (stripboard) and tagboard guitar and bass effect layouts that we have put together covering many classic and popular effects in growing numbers. Many of these have been posted on freestompboxes.org, so check that site out for great discussions on building your own effect pedals. Yerasov Gamma DS-1 Distortion
Old Yerasov Gamma series distortion. Box totally looks like a Boss rip off, but the insides are not.
Tag it, IT MONSTEROUS!!!! I mean effin brutz I used 500k with 499k across it to get ~250k, and flat red LEDS, I'm shocked at how mgood it is. Thanks Miro
The fact that you haven't got 0V on pin 4 suggests that you haven't connected the ground connection up properly. Did you do the double link at the blue circle?
guess sometimes all you need in time. After my last post, didnt advance much. today was talking about ds1 and got this pedal back on the table. I was one component short. Although i did review it many times back in November I just could not see it. .. learn my lesson here. BTW great sound. Tks Miro and IvIark, also congrats on the family .
Cool...
ReplyDeleteTwo leds for clipping? Me likey.

1 5.18
2 5.20

5 3.51
6 4.31
7 5.25
8 0.24
Any tips? can post pictures
There's something very wrong with those voltages. Did you use the following pin arrangement?
Delete1 --- 8
2 --- 7
3 --- 6
4 --- 5
If so, with most of these IC based opamp circuits I would expect the pin voltages to be similar to the following:
1 - 4.5v
2 - 4.5v
3 - 4.5v
4 - 0v
5 - 4.5v
6 - 4.5v
7 - 4.5v
8 - 9v

my power supply is givin 10.50v and not 9v (will change)
ReplyDeleteThe arrengement was right but on the reverse (i was using the wrong probe)
So now
1 - 5.10
2 - 5.10
3 - 3.43 (and the leds blink one each time)
4 - 0
5 - 3.43/3.44 (and the leds blink too quen taking mejur)
6 - 4.41
7 - 5.10
8 - 10.20
the d1 I am using 5819
I do think my 3pdt (cheap brand) is suspecius now.
Tks for the help will update with any finds on my mistakes.
I am getting the "piiii" with a jrc4558 using the tl072 no sound comes.
