500th verified layout!

This is truly amazing. Madferrect cracked the ETI Struzz/Fuzz today and... We now have 500 verified layouts. It's not that long since Mark wrote a note for 400. List of unverified ones is quite long too and there may be some interesting boards still unbuild.

Seems like we have a few new active people doing lots of builds and helping others on comments, which is just super. We also have tons of older faces still doing lots of very impressive builds and helping out. Thanks to you all, we're at this magical number. I think there are too many people to thank individually, so you'll just going to have to do with a collective thank you. Not even going to try to list you guys - i'm sure i would forget someone important.

Don't know how i could emphasize it - Thank you!

Knife the gaps and keep on building!

  1. Hi-5's for 500! A huge, HUGE thank you must go to yourself & Mark, Miro for the layouts in the first place & for your help, assistance & guidance. And I echo your thanks to others for their help as well! You're a bloody good bunch!! ;0)

  2. fantastic! another milestone reached! congrats to you two, miro and mark! this site is extremely addictive. thank you again to both you!

oh, and btw mark/miro, here's a small request: i wonder if you guys can provide another category box on the right-hand-side for "layouts most recently verified", with the top one being the most recent? i don't know if it's possible, but if you could make it happen, it'll be greatly appreciated.

    have a good day, everyone!

I've learned a lot in a short space of time from you guys and everyone that contributes. I'm checking out you site every day itching for my next build.
This has got to be the best site out there.

    Thanks a million.

  8. Big ups to M&M!

This is a great little community and I'm glad I found it. I only wish I had a stash of components so that I could build something as soon as it comes out, this way I'm always at least a month behind.

Keep it going, peeps! Still a lot of non-dsp pedals out there to do!

On a side note, once we do get on the dsp train, I'd be curios to see say an Amptweaker's Swirlpool done on vero or any of the Lovetone's stuff, whether it'd fit on an A3-sized board :)))).

  11. Thanks guys! It's been a one helluva ride! We probably will continue doing this for a long time :) I'm probably not going to do those 30+ layout months myself though. First, finding good stuff to draw is getting scarcer every day, and second, i seem to be a lot more error prone when i'm doing a lot of layouts in short period of time. And the errors wear me down. It's just that i'm feeling guilty every time i f* up :) So for me, less and better will be my motto for a while...

  12. Congratulations! Knowing verified or unverfied is good. Beginners can be confident it will work, and those with a little more experience can enjoy the thrill of being a verifier! This is a supurb site. And don't stress out mirosol, your work is much appreciated. All my builds from here have worked - more than I can say for other sites' schematics. Well done guys.

    1. I'm fine. :) It is just a bit mind consuming to track the errors - after someone has spent a few hours putting it together... But. Every time i feel doubt, i'll just have to check my verified layouts folder. Currently - 134 layouts. So it seems i do get one or two correct from time to time... :)

  15. Can't really add too much to the congrats and adulation - just more of the same. You guys do an amazing job and you have to know how much we appreciate all the hard work. Just glad I stumbled onto this site a while back. I have so many great pedals now thanks to this site ( and Sabro - Bless him! ).

At least some of you guys have wives to moderate your spending on parts though! Ha....
