Here's a collection of vero (stripboard) and tagboard guitar and bass effect layouts that we have put together covering many classic and popular effects in growing numbers. Many of these have been posted on freestompboxes.org, so check that site out for great discussions on building your own effect pedals. ETI Fuzztone
Apparently there was some slight issues with the schematic above, namely the R6 was not correctly placed - that had been corrected in the next ETI issue back in 1993. The layout seems correct to me.. :)
Any luck on this one? I have checked and double checked every connection, component, solder, wire etc. I get loud, bright fuzz but no volume or sustain control.
Any thoughts? I'd love to know that it works for everyone else. Only then will I be able to see the stupid mistake I've made.
Why don't you put the ground on the opposite side and move the Volume 1 connection to where ground connected? Saves a link and remains within the criteria of your OCD I think :o)
Miro, stop publishing fuzzes! My wife's going to kick my ass finally!
ReplyDeleteCrap crap crap. Must. Stop. Building. Fuzz.
ReplyDeleteI have so many fuzz pedals, but I just can't resist!
No no you guys. You can never have too many fuzzes... :)

DeleteDamn right. There can never be too many fuzz pedals around !!!
ReplyDeleteIt's better to burn out than to fade away. There can't be only one.

Checked it against the schematic, and i think the sustain pot may be in reverse, but i can't spot anything else...
