300th Verified Layout!

What can I say, 300 verified layouts.  I've made a point of writing something for the century milestones and whilst I suppose this has all been said before I really want to keep doing it so you know that all the work and input from you all is so appreciated and really what makes this blog.  I wouldn't be motivated to keep on doing them without the feedback, banter and friends I've made on here, so thanks to all of you from the person who gave his thoughts about a layout that had already been verified, to the machines who do 10 a week! (Or a weekend sometimes if you're from Finland)

I know for a fact that if I had to verify them all myself and work out mods etc that we'd be up to about 30 verified layouts on the site so it shows how important ALL the members are in this.

So 300 verified layouts, nearly a million hits, over 7000 comments in the discussions and still going strong.  Let's go for 400.

  1. \o/ Congrats!

I've been building circuits for nearly 11 months now and using stripboard for about nine. I'm still learning new stuff as i go, but i really do know a thing or two nowadays. That is all thanks to massive list of interesting circuits to try out and verify.

You keep 'em coming, and we'll keep on building!

I can't say and mean this enough. Thank you.

  6. You're the best, Mark! I have many great pedals and many exciting projects ahead of me thanks to your efforts. You have given something to the DIY community that very few people would (or could for that matter).

    Cheers from the Great Lakes!

  7. Mark... thank you! They say the best way to learn is to actually get out there and try it. I never really thought I could get into the DIY scene, but your layouts are just PAINLESS. Thanks for making the most well-thought-out, easy to build and excellent layouts. Here's to 300, and here's to 300 more!

  12. There are a small handful of sites on the web that would leave me in tears if they disappeared. This is one of those. It is THAT useful and brings me that much enjoyment in my pedal building hobby.

    Keep up the amazing work!

  13. This is the only place i visit for guitar fx, and im here atleast 5 times a day. Been building for nearly a year now and it's getting more and more fun. And thanks to you i am able to sell my POD's to finally have a real pedalboard, i siply could'nt aford it earlier. Even tho my better half keeps telling me "thing, things, things" when the boxes from tayda and ebay arrives. Guess shes not to happy about the mancave im slowly building up in out livingroom either haha. As miro said, there's no way really to thank you enough for all your effort, but we truly love your work and hope you won't quit doing it anytime soon, but indeed THANK you. 400, get, set go!

  14. I can't say it any better than the previous posters, but it's true for me as well. I visit every day and have learned a ton in the past year. Thanks for the way you tirelessly answer every question, even though it might be for the same question over and over! You treat your audience with respect and I,for one, appreciate it very much. The colonies thank you.

  16. Gratzzz, Mark. Thanks to you and all this wonderful group of crazy soldering iron fans, I'm getting deep on DIY effects building.

Who could tell when I was building my first Fuzz Face a few months ago (that seemed very difficult to me at the time), that I would be now building effects like the Keeley Compressor 4 knob, the Klon Centaur or the Stone Grey Distortion!

Keep on! 3...000 are at the next corner!
