I'm trying to nail this thing, as I'm building it for a relative with very precise tonal prefs.mambonassauhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04806610846359925476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6847048658257278783.post-58016329373465426552015-03-07T23:28:28.658+00:002015-03-07T23:28:28.658+00:00Thanks for the response! The PNP Fuzz Face layout...Thanks for the response! The PNP Fuzz Face layout on this site is also tagboard, not vero, so I unfortunately can't just layer new values and plug in the extra cap; a shame too, as it really is basically the same circuit. But you're right - building it doesn't seem terribly difficult in terms of logic and parts count. I'll break out my breadboard and finally use it :-P My main worry is burning out the AC128s/installing them incorrectly, as they're kind of expensive and I've never breadboarded a circuit before. Any suggestions for alternative transistors at the planning stage?mambonassauhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04806610846359925476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6847048658257278783.post-15058505111433487512015-03-07T00:16:18.889+00:002015-03-07T00:16:18.889+00:00Also, this is pretty much a modified Fuzz Face.
