If you like a few options, put them on toggle switches! Lowering the input cap value cuts bass. Using Si and Ge diodes adds more distortion than LEDs. No diodes adds a lot more volume and distortion is greatly reduced. I sure appreciate this mountain of work and time you have put into this. The Site needs you and your expertise. You are extremely talented and knowledgeable.

I too have been getting the pinched nerve in the neck. It must be the long hours looking down and building stuff. IT has been gone since then going on a month. I highly recommend getting a massage in that area it did wonders for me! You know the earth connection is good because the 1n works, so that eliminates that possibility.IvIarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08416945174853142251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6847048658257278783.post-35536182371194148002016-08-29T15:42:53.297+01:002016-08-29T15:42:53.297+01:00I'd expect it to be brighter with the 33p if a...I'd expect it to be brighter with the 33p if anything. If you want it s bit brighter overall I'd swap the 100n input cap for a 68n or even 47n. An easy way would be to add another 100n in series with the input wire which will give you the equivalent of a 50n input cap. Maybe add it to a switch so you can have an additional bright and original switchIvIarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08416945174853142251noreply@blogger.com
