Thanks for this layout, it's cool to be able to access vibrato of any kind without having to shell out for more "proper" chips like 3207s and the like.

Upon the first try it did have a bit of noise to it though, but not clicking: rather a fizzy dying-battery noise in the background, not too loud but noticeable. It was way less present in vibrato mode so I thought it must have sth do do with the clean path rather than the modulated path... Swapped the LM328N I had put in with an AN6552 and the noise disappeared completely. Hooray!

Now all that's left to do is to muster up the courage to undo and change the pots... Dunno about your builds, folks, but with mine the knobs really only have impact in the last quarter of their path. So I'll try swapping lin for log. It seems like in every schematic I can find with the anti-latchup the 100R is removed, and that it would just negate the function of the fix. The ic 's are not connected anymore as i turned on the pedal with them in it for 5min at least might have damaged something.. but there was only the sound with no fx coming out... I already spent hours etching properly the V4 from Rick Holt with at the end clear soundig but right voltage everywhere... i decided to do this veroboard thinking it will be the one... ahah. I m so pissed i can't get thru the little angel. I give up. I recently built the V2 Little Angel Chorus and I am having an issue with the LFO clicking (I think). I've recorded the sound to hopefully help diagnose the issue.

Audio Probe: https://www.dropbox.com/preview/Little%20Angel%20Chorus%20Click/Little%20Angel%20Chorus%20Clicking%20Probe.wav
(This is probing pins 1, 7, 6, and 5 of the NE5532 op amp. It's definitely quieter on pin 1 (output), but still there! Don't mind the hum, that's in my DAW, not when I direct monitor the pedal)

Dry: https://www.dropbox.com/preview/Little%20Angel%20Chorus%20Click/Little%20Angel%20Chorus%20Clicking%20Dry.wav
Wet: https://www.dropbox.com/preview/Little%20Angel%20Chorus%20Click/Little%20Angel%20Chorus%20Clicking%20Wet.wav
(Dry and Wet were recorded at the same time using 2 channels on an audio interface)

Here are the pin voltages on the NE5532 and the PT2399:
NE5532
1: 4.85
2: 4.62
3: 4.62
4: 0
5: 2.8-3.25 cyclic
6: 3.0-3.25 cyclic
7: 1.7-4.5 cyclic
8: 9.26

PT2399
1: 5.02
2: 2.5
3: 0
4: 0
5: 5.02
6: 0.45
7: 0.25 (drops to 0 when testing)
8: 0.25 (drops to 0 when testing)
9: 2.5
10: 2.5
11: 2.5
12: 2.5
13: 2.5
14: 2.5
15: 2.5
16: 2.5

Voltages taken without any audio signal being played. Strangely (maybe) when I play something and then probe (with a multimeter) pin 2 of the PT2399, the audio signal is killed and I have to cycle the power supply off, then on, to get it to start again.

Anyone have any ideas on what to check or what could be causing this issue?

Thanks!Michael Wheelerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02794455178609454471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6847048658257278783.post-79151055382922521162019-09-21T14:30:51.874+01:002019-09-21T14:30:51.874+01:00Took me 2 days to build and it’s not working :(
